Halifax: St Hilda, Halifax

St Hilda’s Church,
Halifax
The church was built in 1911 to replace an earlier mission building. Land was sold in order to create a community room with a kitchen and toilets, this is a much used facility in an area in which there is no other comunity room.
Welcome to St Hilda’s
St Hilda’s is a family church where you can be sure of a very warm welcome.
Our Church is just like any other family: we have children and their parents, grandparents and even great grandparents. We have single people and couples, people with special needs and we have plenty of MEN!
But we have several things in common:
• We love God
• We look out for each other
• We want to do the best we can to build a better world and serve our community
We don’t all look alike or think alike, but this makes for a lively church in which we try to value each other and work together.
